Wow, what a great time!  I laughed more this weekend than I have since we last gathered.  It was so great to see so many of you.  Thanks again to the committee for putting together such a fantastic event.  Please post your pictures - we still have plenty of room on this site.  Do keep in touch and see you all at Bob's Lounge in 5 years!

Thanks to everyone who turned out Friday Night at View 34. It was a special moment to arrive and to see the large turnout already in place. We were in such a hurry to leave Rapid City that I didn't think to bring a camera (Note to self - buy cheap digital camera to keep in the car). So...If possible it would be a treat if folks could come back to this page and post photos of this weekend~?

Very much looking forward to the events yet to come this afternoon and tonight. Hoping the weather holds...

Thanks again everyone for the extremely nice reception, the conversation, and to the organizers who worked diligently to set these events and this weekend in place. I'm very proud and honored to have been a member of such a special group of people as the Class of '79.

Collector of Last Names....mama told me there would be days like this!
I started a new job in April and do not have time off until my 90 day review date of 7-15-09 plus a part time job which requires me to work every Thurs. nite and all daySaturday.  I am sorry that I will not make the festivities...have a great time.

Just a reminder of how small this world is:  While I was serving as a 1st Lt in the Field Artillery with the AZ Army National Guard in Mesa, AZ, a Sgt. Joe Creager walked into my unit.  I hadn't seen him since graduation.

About a year later (1988), Our 153rd FA Bde was deployed overseas for Team Sprit in South Korea.  As I was getting off the plane, I saw some familiar faces from the 147th FA from South Dakota.  One of those faces was John Trebesh.

Half way around the world, you never know who you'll bump into...

If the event is anything like the organizational meetings we are going to have a blast. Look forward to seeing all my friends from Pierre and those who will be traveling here.

Hello all!  I am looking forward to seeing old friends & their families.  It has been 20 years since I have been to Pierre so I can't to see all the changes!  We have lived in Huntington Beach, CA for the past 20 years and we enjoy all the sports that can done in the ocean.  Sailing, surfing, kitesurfing and just hanging out.  My husband and I have been married 19 years and have 3 children, Ross 17, Clayton 15, and Grace 13.  I have been a flight attendant for United Airlines for almost 20 years now (yikes) and my husband is a pilot.  I just decided to try and come today  (4th of July) and I am excited to see everyone.  Thanks to the committee for all your hard work!

Can't wait to see everyone!  I chuckled the entire way through the photo albums.  Life is great!  We have two grandboys that we spend a lot of time with.  I continue to teach special education after 23 years and am anxiously waiting for retirement!  Hope to see everyone soon!
